What a show we had at this years Ekka ! Following on from our two Female Interbreed wins in 2024 and 2023 this year we took out the Champion of Champions Breed Pair award with two of our own Red Angus Exhibits GK Red NCJ Valyrian V1 and GK Red M17 Cherok T15 (with bull calf at side) What an honour it was to win this award with two animals bred and exhibited by GK Livestock.
We also won the following Championships
- Red Angus: (Champion cow GK T15 and Champion bull photoGK v01 )
- Junior & Grand Champion bull: GK Red NCJ Valyrian V1 (18 months)
- Senior & Grand Champion Female: GK Red M17 Cherok T15 a first calf heifer with December 2024 bull calf at side sired by Bieber Jumpstart.
- 1st Place Red Angus Breeders Group
Simmental:
Senior and Grand Champion Simmental Female: GK Tigerlily T016 a first calf heifer by KWA Western Alliance 400G with January heifer calf at side GK Wild Rose W002 exhibited by Brooke Iseppi
Even more impressive was the fact that all three individuals animals stood in the top 5 in the individual Champion of Champions competition.
