GK 26 Federer F23 continued his winning streak across Australia’s Eastern states, when he was sashed Supreme Beef Exhibit and Senior Interbreed Bull at the 2012 Royal Melbourne Show in September.
Gavin and Federer made the huge 1,600km trip to Melbourne, especially to have a go at winning the triple crown.
This win completed Federer’s interbreed trifecta for 2012, after previously taking out the Supreme Beef Bull in Brisbane in August and prior to that in April being named a member of the Hordern Trophy winning Supreme Beef Pair in Sydney. To our knowledge, this has only ever been done once before.
