We took a team of nine heifers and three very excited Queensland Junior members on the long haul down to Wodonga in January to support the 2015 Angus Youth Roundup. Thanks again must go to Lauren Berecry, Claudia Neilson, Ash and Chloe Janic and Lane Evans for all their help with team of cattle and with mentoring Jake, Brooke and Issy Glasser.
The team had a lot of success over the weekend, coming away with some major prizes. All the heifers showed across three classes and all placed in the top five, with the highlights being two class winners and Intermediate Champion Heifer.
All the Junior competitors of the team had a ball and placed well in their Paraders classes the following day. It was a big trip, but well worth it and we are already looking forward to the 2016 AYR to be held in Armidale NSW.
