GK Livestock had another highly successful showing at Rockhampton’s Beef Australia Expo. We took six head up to compete at Beef 2012 and won seven championship ribbons.
GK 26 Federer F23 was named Junior and Grand Champion Red Angus Bull at Beef 2012, following on from his success at Sydney.
Calf Champion Bull was the 616kg, 12-month-old calf, GK Grand Vision 107 G4.
Grand Vision is from our first drop of calves by new sire Red Diamond T Hips Stout 107U. We would like to thank the Newman and Lund Families, Laglan Pastoral Co. of Central Queensland, for purchasing Grand Vision at Beef 2012, for $10,000. We look forward to seeing a little bit of Red Angus influence in their massive breeding program.
